I prefer to be at Jungle Lodges and Resort, Kali Adventure Camp, Dandeli and nothing else for the very reason the food and service are truly world class. Beware! there are so many fake ones in the same name, use only this Jungle lodges official site to book for stay: http://www.junglelodges.com/. There are multiple home stay options also but I would strongly recommend Jungle Lodges only.
Dandeli Wildlife Safari:
There is no authorized safari provider and highly in-organized. Jungle Lodges as well as private owners provide Jeep Safari inside Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary. Jeep Safari is for 2:30 hours in the morning and 2:30 hours in the evening.

Wildlife Moments I have enjoyed in Dandeli:
Flame Back in Rain
Mr. Handsome in a flight | my years of wait to capture a peacock in flight ends on that day at Dandeli. It was a moment after rains at Dandeli… the twilight was just too gorgeous. Amidst that, a handsome peacock was on a perch so close to the trail and seeing the vehicle he took off in split second. With no much time to react, captured the moment from the moving vehicle. Higher SS helped me to capture the moment well.

Gorgeous take off | while most ignore and hate backlight, I found myself an unique taste for these frames. With all background, washed away, I can just stay focus on the bird and her act alone. Look at the build of this beautiful Malabar pied hornbill. The burst of energy for the flight, claws just taking leave from the perch and the wide wings are just too gorgeous to handle.
