Enjoying the First Rains

STORY BEHIND THE IMAGE:

Who would not enjoy the first rains? The smell of the soil, the tunes of the droplets and the song of the rains would mesmerize anyone.

These cute little chicks were just few days old, and they were at their first day out with their mother. It was a very sunny day but suddenly the clouds turned moody. The chicks were surprised yet they were enjoying the painted clouds. Before even they realize, there was a heavy downpour; the chicks got drenched and were dead terrified. The strong and determined mother was not intimidated by the rough rains, she took all her babies under her wings and kept them warm. After a while, the rains stopped but the chicks were not ready to leave the warmth of their mother.

The artistic rains have created a nature’s pool and the mother wanted them to enjoy these moments. She gave a gentle shake and one by one the cute bubbles came out. The chicks were so excited to see the pool of water but yet there were a little afraid to take the first step with out their mom. At the same time the moody weather was too gorgeous to pass, they took their first step and lost themselves in the beauty of their reflection in the water. The nature blessed them with sprinkles of rains and made the first rains so special.
