Do you know the princess of hill stations? It is Kodaikanal from India. Though the hill station by itself is a treat to travel around, the cherry on the cake is the Kodai Lake.
On that day, Me and my wife were on an evening walk by the lake side. We were talking about the beauty of the lake. The trees on the bank fell in love with the lake and hugged her with their branches. While we were immersed in that moment, my wife spotted a beautiful kingfisher under the canopy.
It was quite a bright day but the thick trees were adamant not to let the light paint the kingfisher. The breezy winds took the side of the hot boy and gently waved the leaves. The sun rays started to paint the kingfisher on & off like a rhythmic tune.
The Kingfisher felt that warm love, looked at the golden rays and she got illuminated. For that brief moment, the blue beauty has become an ‘Illuminated Kingfisher’. We cherished that lovable moment, held our hands together and walked the rest of the lake.
