“Always fun to watch these mischievous calves playing with each other. The baby elephant plays with his brother in a friendly manner also practicing its dominance at a very early stage. Amazing to watch these calves grow into majestic gentle giants”. – Says Ameya.

“I painted this for Mother’s day. I wanted to capture the tenderness of the moment. Wonderful how a ferocious huntress can be so tender towards her young one. Again I was fascinated by the color of the fur and the bond shared by the mother and her cub.” – says Ameya.

“What got me hooked to this image was the raw aggression of the ape. The bristling hair, the flared nostril and the bared canines.. The blue nose made it look more unique with the monkey looking upwards.” – says Ameya.
