The hard truth is prime lens is not affordable for everyone. Considering that, when we evaluate the best value for money lens in mid range yet very versatile lens, it is indeed the Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3. I have been using and tested this lens for whole of 2016 and I would easily say the best lens for bird photography and wildlife photography available at this price as of early 2017.
