Story #10 – Sibling’s Love!
Sibling’s Love expressed by Tigers is such a magical thing to watch and capture. The image may seem like a misaligned big cat. But if we look closely, It was a priceless moment of a tiger cub resting on her bigger sibling. I’m not sure what the future holds for them… but for now, they share an unique bond. With least care on their future, they are just immersed in love for each other. If we ignore the eye contact it looks like a cool leisurely moment but the sharp eye contact made it a vibrant scene. The gorgeous rays that pierced through the thick jungle painted and lit both the siblings. What a memorable sighting that is!!!
Story #9 – Tiger in Golden Light
The wee hours of the day painted the Jungle with rush of colors. Yet the blushing greens were adamant to get washed way. The neutral waters reflected the golden moment. As this happens the sparkle of the jungle, the majestic big cat walked by and she rested there to challenge them with her elegance and beauty. Her sharp eyes, the mesmerizing lines and curves connected the dots and made the color palette of the scene so stunning. The jungle declared her the winner and she acknowledged that with a striking pose. It is for sure an once in a lifetime moment to witness and cherish.
Story #8 – The Stare I longed for!
When I reached there, I couldn’t get a good view of this Tigress. She is the reigning Queen and the most ferocious one in the Jungle. She was resting by a stream of water well inside the jungle trail. All I could see was a glimpse of her through the bushes. She was well asleep and I was just observing her beauty through my viewfinder. As I was watching her, without even moving herself an inch, she just opened her eyes and gave this intense look. It was totally unexpected and was shocking. Yet, I managed to capture this beautiful stare of a Wild Tiger that I longer for always.
Story #7 – On her Throne!
She is one of the Majestic tigress I have ever seen in the Indian Jungles. She is a Proud mother of two beautiful princesses who are ruling two core areas of the Jungle now. Still the queen never lost her charm and she is always the most wanted one in the Jungle. On a hot burning day, she decided to pose at her throne and was adamant not to move. Tiger at Eye level, Ears stretched out, Eyes locked on me, A Striking side pose and Head on… It was such a perfect moment to photograph a wild tiger. I could never ask more than this.
Story #6 – Wild Queen on the Stream
It was a hot day at the Jungle, the sun was scorching us at 45+ degrees Celsius. Most of the jungle has dried out completely, yet a small stream of water kept her surroundings green and healthy. A majestic tigress walked by to the stream to cool her off. Seeing the calm statues (myself and the naturalist) around, she was convinced that we are not a threat. She lied down on the stream and rested herself on the stream. Intrigued with my presence, she stared at me without even moving her an inch but just rolling her eyes to me. She dipped herself on the stream, and sipped the water keeping her sharp eyes locked on me.
Story #5 – The King!
The Sun kissed and welcomed a new Dawn. The trees shredded their dark shades of the night to reveal their charming green twinkles. The gorgeous morning rays warmly hugged the leaves and painted them with a touch of yellow tones. The birds were singing to the tunes of the air oozing through the leaves; the colors of the jungle were wrestling to dominate over each other. The rush of colors blurred the wilderness yet the majestic King shined like a star. He chopped the long glowing trail with his contrasting stripes. The nature showered the blessing of the day to their reigning king and the majestic Wild Beauty received it with his chin up.
Story #4 – Wild Baby in Mud!
When luck favors me, the Wild tiger would come to us rather than us searching around. It was one such lucky day at the Jungle. It was a raining season and chances of seeing a Wild Tiger is really less. But, on that day, this massive Male tiger decided to walk up to the trail just few metres behind us and decided to take a sip of fresh rain water. Like a cute little baby he was playing in the mud. He was sipping the muddy waters to have an earthy feel. Oh sure! That’s the best flavor of the jungle!
Story #3 – Stare through the Leaves!
When I reached there, all I could see was a sleeping beauty. Cuddling the mud and with a nice cover from the Jamun tree, he was in deep sleep. I had to wait for almost an hour before he just gave me a peek and then went back to sleep. And to me, all that I needed was that quick peek to capture that priceless look through the gorgeous leaves of the Jamun. I see this moment priceless to me since this moment gave me a chance to admire the behavior of these wild big cats at their own world (jungle).
Story #2 – The Chosen One!
While this Prince was born, the stakes were really high. The wilderness has kept a tall expectations on him. He didn’t shy away, he didn’t bend even a bit, he didn’t show his back on any challenges being thrown on him. The prince chose a cave his home and learnt the art of survival from the jungle queen. He is a born ruler, the chosen one, he is unique and stands out from the crowd. He is ready now, much earlier than anyone had ever thought; the Jungle couldn’t wait to welcome her new King!
After years of wait, he graced everyone with his presence. He walked out of the cave and flaunted his new avatar. No one could believe that he is the same old Prince; he is majestic, rugged and ruthless; his eyes says it all. He rehearsed the King’s pose and the jungle said ‘Aah! he is the one’. With his sharp eyes focused, he awaits the day to conquer and rule the Kingdom! And that day is not so far away!
Story #1 – The Chilling Snarl!
Indeed, she is the gorgeous princess of the Jungle and she is called ‘Sundari’ meaning a beautiful girl; but when she says ‘Don’t mess with me’, it is better to move away! This images tops it all, a reminder to me on the risks involved in watching these wild tigers. When we see a wild tiger, we stop a give a good distance between us and the tiger but at this instance we did even realize a tiger is close by. By the time I saw here, it was too late, she was angry and snarled at me; it sent nervous shivers down my spine!
